The end result is a website that you’ll be proud of, that your users will enjoy and the support that will make owning and operating a website a breeze.
Step 1 – Planning
The first thing we do when beginning a new project is planning each and every detail. We sit down (or talk over the phone) and work with you to define your new website’s target market, features and content layout. By doing so, we can determine how your website should look and function in order for you to truly be a success online.
Step 2 – Mock-ups and Content
This is where the real fun begins. Michael will begin working on your website’s new design, making sure to incorporate all of today’s latest design standards. During this process he’ll personally send and call you to review the work, ask for your opinions and make a few changes. Most of the time he’s able to even make changes and send you an updated mockup while you talk on the phone! This level of communication between you and your designer is something you can’t find at a larger design firm.
While Michael is working on the design, Daniel will help organize your content. He’ll work with you to determine a navigational structure that will keep users on your website for as long as possible. He’ll also help you define the type of content that should be on each page. Step 3 – Development
The development stage is where your website comes to life. Daniel will turn Michael’s mockups into a real, working, thriving website. A content management system will be put in place, pages will be setup and features will be developed. During this phase, Daniel will send a link where you can view progress any time of the day. He’ll even call you up and make sure the features are exactly how you’d like them to be and just like Michael, he can most likely make changes while you talk on the phone.
Step 4 – Launch and Training
Once your website is complete and you’ve approved it, Daniel and Michael will make it live! We’ll setup all of the hosting for you on either your hosting account or our own, and we’ll even submit your site to all the search engines. Of course, when the time comes to hand over the reigns to you, we’ll make sure that you’re fully trained on how to manage features, add pages and such (it’s a breeze!). We do realize that you may always need help, so you can call or email us at any time for personal support.
Step 5 – Search Engine Marketing
Although not all of our clients choose a search engine optimization plan, those who do absolutely love the results! Once your website is live we begin building back-links, submitting articles and blog comments, and building your website’s authority in the eyes of Google and other search engines in order to take you to the top!
